Classification Of Humidifiers

A humidifier is a household appliance that can increase the humidity of a room. The humidifier can humidify a designated room, or it can be connected to a boiler or a central air-conditioning system to humidify the entire building. According to the theory of heat and humidity exchange, humidifiers are divided into the following two types in actual projects:
1. Isenthalpic humidifier: it uses water to absorb the sensible heat of air for evaporation and humidification. The change in the enthalpy and humidity diagram is an approximate isenthalpic process.
2. Isothermal humidifier: It uses heat energy to convert liquid water into steam and mix with air for humidification. The change in the enthalpy and humidity diagram is an approximate isothermal process.
Humidifiers can be divided into three categories: industrial humidifiers, commercial humidifiers and household humidifiers.
Ultrasonic humidifier
It has been widely used in various fields. The ultrasonic humidifier uses 2 million times per second ultrasonic high-frequency vibration to atomize the water into ultrafine particles of 1 to 5 microns and negative oxygen ions, so as to achieve uniform humidification, fresh air, improve health, and remove the dry heat of winter heating , Create a comfortable living environment.
Pure humidifier
Direct evaporative humidifiers are usually also called pure humidifiers. Pure humidification technology is a new technology that has just been adopted in the humidification field. Through molecular sieve evaporation technology, calcium and magnesium ions in the water are removed and the "white powder" problem is completely solved. Washing the air through the water curtain can filter and purify germs, dust, and particles in the air while humidifying, and then send the moist and clean air to the room through a pneumatic device, thereby increasing the environmental humidity and cleanliness. So it is very suitable for families with the elderly and children, and it can also prevent winter flu bacteria.
Ultrasonic humidifiers and pure humidifiers are the first choice products recommended for children. They have high safety factors, purify the air, have strong sterilization and humidification capabilities, improve health, and provide children with a comfortable environment.

Electric heating humidifier
Thermal evaporative humidifier is also called electric heating humidifier. Its working principle is to heat water to 100°C in a heating body to generate steam, which is sent out by a motor. Electric heating humidifier is the simplest way of humidification technology.
Immersion electrode humidifier
An immersed electrode humidifier (immersed electrode humidifier) uses a large area of electrodes immersed in water as a terminal, and uses water as a heating medium. When the current transfers electricity through the water, it generates heat, which makes the water boil and generate steam. It is characterized by low cost and easy installation and use. But the accuracy is low, and the humidifier needs to be replaced regularly for maintenance.
Cold mist humidifier
This type of humidifier uses a fan to force air to contact and exchange with water when it passes through a water-absorbing medium to increase the relative humidity of the air. The characteristic of this type of humidifier is that it can automatically adjust with the relative humidity of the air, that is, when the relative humidity of the air is low, the amount of humidification is large, and when the relative humidity of the air is high, the amount of humidification is low; the disadvantage is that the amount of humidification is low (about 1% of the ultrasonic humidifier). /5) Compared with ultrasonic humidifiers, the noise is larger, but this type of humidifier consumes less energy and has low noise.
