Fixed speed and frequency conversion

Household air conditioners are divided into frequency conversion and fixed speed. The ability of an air conditioner with the same horsepower to adjust the indoor temperature is greater than that of a fixed-speed air conditioner. Inverter air conditioners are relatively cost-effective and use more energy-saving. In addition, the inverter air conditioner can achieve precise temperature control and prevent "air conditioning disease" in certain procedures.

1. Cost of electricity for fixed-speed air-conditioning:

① The startup current of the fixed-speed air conditioner is several times the rated current, and the fixed-speed air conditioner frequently starts and stops during operation, which consumes electricity.

②The fixed-speed air conditioner keeps heating at the rated high power during operation. After the room temperature rises to the set temperature of the air conditioner plus 1 degree, the air conditioner stops. After the air conditioner stops, when the room temperature drops to the set temperature of the air conditioner minus 1 degree, the air conditioner starts again, and the cycle repeats. The same goes for refrigeration.

③The fixed-speed air conditioner has insufficient heating capacity in winter, with electric auxiliary heating elements, and the energy efficiency ratio is only 1. The electric auxiliary heating power of the fixed-speed air conditioner is 1~2kW, which consumes electricity.

2. Power saving of inverter air conditioner:

① The startup of the inverter air conditioner is a soft start, no inrush current, and no waste of electricity.

②The inverter air conditioner first runs at high frequency to heat up during operation. When the room temperature reaches the set temperature of the air conditioner, the air conditioner changes to low frequency operation and keeps warm without shutting down. The power consumption of continuous low-frequency operation is only one-third or even one-fourth of the rated power. The same goes for refrigeration.

③The inverter air conditioner does not have the electric auxiliary heating element which consumes a lot of electricity.

In summary, the continuous low-frequency operation of inverter air conditioners has neither frequent start-up inrush current nor long-term high-power operation like fixed-speed air conditioners, and there is no electric auxiliary heating element that consumes electricity. Therefore, inverter air conditioners are better than fixed speed air conditioners. Speed air-conditioning saves energy and electricity.

Cooling settings

According to the summer air conditioning start-up index, 30-33°C is classified as Level 4, and 70% of people need to turn it on; 33-35°C is classified as Class 5, and 90% of it needs to be turned on. After turning on the air conditioner, pay attention to adjusting the indoor and outdoor temperature difference. The room temperature should be set at about 24°C-18°C, and the indoor and outdoor temperature difference should not exceed 7°C.

If the outdoor temperature is 32 degrees, the indoor air conditioner is generally 25 degrees.

When the air conditioner is cooling, the setting temperature is about 26-28°C. In this case, not only the human body feels more comfortable, but it is also conducive to energy saving. When the air conditioner is cooling, do not set the temperature too low. When the room temperature is adjusted to 26-27 degrees, the cooling load can be reduced by more than 8%. Experiments have shown that, under normal circumstances, the room temperature is maintained at 28-29 degrees, and the humidity is maintained at 50-60%. People do not feel stuffy or sweat, which belongs to the comfort range. When a person sleeps, the metabolic rate is reduced by 30-50%, and the air conditioner can be set to the sleep switch position, and the temperature can be set to 1 degree higher, which can save 10% of electricity;
